The Buena Vista Social Orchestra Returns to São Paulo!

After the success of its last tour, the Buena Vista Social Orchestra returns to Distrito Anhembi for another incredible performance at the Teatro Celso Furtado.

Formed by original members of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club, the group brings to Brazil a unique show featuring a full band and high-level production, performing the greatest classics of Buena Vista Social Club in a musical experience that promises to be unforgettable and deeply moving!

Under the direction of Jesus ‘Aguaje’ Ramos, the original trombonist and conductor of Buena Vista Social Club, the show preserves the legacy of the most famous Cuban group of all time, with energetic performances that have drawn crowds to theaters around the world.

In Buena Vista Social Orchestra, Ramos is joined by a stellar ensemble of Cuban musicians, including other original members of the Buena Vista Social Club such as Luis “Betun” Mariano Valiente Marin (Congas, Bongo), Emilio Senon Morales Ruiz (Piano), and Fabían Garcia (Bass), forming a full orchestra of 10 musicians with top-tier production.

Show Repertoire

Fans can expect to hear the greatest classics from Buena Vista Social Club, including songs from the iconic 1997 album, which has sold over fifty million copies worldwide and earned numerous awards, including a Grammy.

This time, the performance will feature a special opening act: the Argentine band Onda Vaga, known for its delightful Latin sound that has captivated fans around the globe.
