The portal has opened, and the destination is the heart of São Paulo. From July 2 to 5, 2026, Anime Friends returns to Distrito Anhembi for its 22nd edition. As the primary meeting point for Asian pop and geek culture enthusiasts—under the concept of “infinite worlds in one place”—the event will occupy over 54,000 square meters to deliver its most extravagant edition yet.
Far beyond a convention, the festival transforms into a true “otaku” multiverse, integrating anime, manga, games, and an immersive Asian pop music lineup. Expecting to gather over 200,000 fans, Distrito Anhembi—the official home of AF since 2018—provides the infrastructure needed to host cosplay contests, K-pop performances, and international activations that put the audience at the center of the action.
