Designed by one of the most important Brazilian architects, Oscar Niemeyer, the Sambadrome – Grande Othello Sports and Cultural Center hosts the São Paulo Carnival every year.
However, the traditional festivities stage represents and enables much more than that. The Sambadrome also is the space where concerts are held with the greatest national and international artists, sports presentations, advertisement film shootings, automaker tests drives, year-end parties, graduation ceremonies, parties, etc.
With an 80,000 m² total area, it is composed of floor, bleachers, rooms, dressing rooms, two arenas for concerts and a covered area – the Anhembi Space.
