Can we start the best Brazilian party?
Carnival it’s the biggest party of Brazilian cultural and since 1991 the Distrito Anhembi Sambadrome it’s the house of this great celebration. On February 22nd and 28th and On March 1st, 2nd and 8th we will receive the expected Samba School Parade.
It will be 33 schools during 4 days of a lot of revelry and joy! The school of II Access Group opens the parade on February 22nd, only on this day is free entrance. On the days 02-28 and 03-01 the schools of Special Group dispute for the champion title. And the schools of I Access Group finished the parade on March 2nd. On March 8th the famous Champions Parade happens.
So, take notes on your calendar so you don’t lose anything.

It will be allowed the entrance with non-perishable, processed and sealed foods (example: Cookies, Cereal Bars, Toast, etc.), fruits cut and packaged in transparent, non-rigid Zip Lock packaging. Limited to 3 items per person.
On the revelry path the hydration it’s a high note! Our Sambadrome will have a lot of drinking fountains, provide for all a party watered not only with rhythm, but also with drinking water.
Don’t
For public safety is forbidden the entrance with:
1) rigid bottles of any type or size, except plastic bottles for drinking water, without lids, which may be removed by security guards;
2) rigid packaging with lids;
3) thermal cups, made of glass or metal;
4) cans in general;
5) chairs and stools;
6) umbrellas, sharp, piercing or cutting objects;
7) firearms or bladed weapons (knives, pocket knives, etc.);
8) fireworks;
9) objects made of glass, rigid plastic, metal or wood;
10) drinks of any nature, solvated if packaged in a disposable cup;
11) flammable and corrosive materials;
12) Sprays;
13) laser pointers or other light-emitting devices.
In the case of special diets, as long as the recommendations listed in the previous item are observed, there will be no objection, remembering that children’s access to the Sambadrome is subject to the guidelines set out in the Ordinance issued by the Children and Youth Court of the Santana Regional Forum.
Age Rating
Children aged 6 to 12 are only allowed to enter with full parental supervision.
Children aged 13 to 17 are only allowed to enter with full parental supervision.
Children under 6 are not allowed.
How to Get There
Public Transportation
On the five days of parades (special group, accesses 1 and 2; and the champions’ parade), SPTrans activates two bus lines with exclusive service to the Sambadrome, departing from the Portuguesa-Tietê and Palmeiras-Barra Funda subway stations. In addition, the night bus lines also help revelers return home. All lines have normal fares and all types of Bilhete Único are accepted.
Subway: On Friday and Saturday (February 9th and 10th), to serve passengers going to Anhembi, the Palmeiras-Barra Funda stations, which serve CPTM and Subway passengers, and Portuguesa-Tietê, on Line 1-Azul, will be open non-stop for boarding and disembarking. The other stations on all subway and metropolitan train lines will be open only for transfers and disembarking.
Taxis and App-Based Cars
Disembarking is preferably done near Ponte da Casa Verde and Avenida Braz Leme, which has the shortest distance to the entrance gates.
Parking
Every year during Carnival, a special operation is set up to welcome visitors to our parking lot. We will provide more information soon.
